Цели и задачи урока:

1) Содействовать активизации речевой деятельности учащихся по теме СМИ, учить выражать свое мнение в беседе.

2) Использовать методику обучения говорению Эдварда Де Боно « Шесть шляп» для создания приятного психологического климата на уроке, снятия психологических и языковых трудностей и развития коммуникативной компетенции учащихся.

3)Расширить кругозор учащихся по теме СМИ

4) Воспитывать культуру общения учащихся.

Тип учебного занятия: систематизация и обобщение изученного материала.

Методы обучения: словесный, наглядно-иллюстративный, репродуктивный, частично-поисковый, контрольный.

Формы организации учебно-познавательной деятельности: фронтальная, парная, групповая.

Средства обучения:

мультимедиа-проектор, презентация урока ( Приложение 1) , выполненная в Power Point; диск с аудиозаписью физминутки, слайд-фильм , 6 шляп разных цветов( белая, желтая, красная, зеленая, синяя, черная.)

 

Ход урока

( слайд 1)

1Приветствие.

Teacher: Good morning, dear guests! Good morning, children. I am glad to see you. Today we‘ll speak about Media. Please, look at the blackboard. These beautiful hats will help us to speak about Mass Media. White hat will help us to repeat words and word combinations on the topic. Yellow hat will help us to make up some sentences. Red hat - to express your opinion about Mass Media, what do you like \don’t like in Mass Media? What do you hate? What do you prefer…? Black hat will help to find some disadvantages in using of Mass Media. Green hat give you the opportunity to be creative, to make your dialogues, to demonstrate your hometasks: film, the articles. And at last, blue hat will help us to make conclusions, results. Do you understand me? Are you ready? OK, let’s begin.

II. Речевая разминка

( слайд 2)

1.Teacher: And now, please, answer my question – what is Media? Please take white hat and let’s repeat some words on the topic.

Purple 1 – Media is the means of communication: TV, newspapers (tabloid), the Internet, radio.

Teacher: What is TV?

Purple 1 :TV is broadcasting programmes (the news advertisements, shows, etc.) for people to watch on their television sets;

Teacher: What is a radio?

Purple 2 : A radio is the process of sending and receiving messages through the air; broadcast programmes for people to listen to;

Teacher: What is a newspaper?

Purple 3 : A newspaper is a paper printed and sold usually daily or weekly with news, advertisements est.

Teacher: What is a tabloid?

Purple 4: A tabloids is a newspaper with rather small page pictures and little serious news;

Teacher: What is the Internet?

Purple 5: The Internet is a way to communicate with your p who might be a thousand miles aw the computer (by e-mail).

III. Активизация речевой деятельности

1. Teacher -What is the role of the Media in our life?

Pupil 1 -The Media can inform, educate and entertain people.

Teacher - How do the Media help people?

Pupil 2 - The Internet helps to receive information and to travel around the world without wasting money.

Pupil 3 - The radio help us to relax and to entertain.

Pupil 4 - The newspapers help us to receive information and news.

2.Teacher: Children, please, change your hat, please take yellow hat. Express your opinions on the topic. Please don’t forget to use such phrases as

I believe…; I think …, as for me … Answer the questions to each other, work in pairs.

P1 -Why people read newspapers?

P2 - I believe that people read newspapers because they want to know news.

P3 - What two main kinds of newspapers are there in Britain?

P4 – I think that there are 2 kinds of newspapers in Britain: quality and tabloid.

P5 - What is your favourite newspaper?

P6 – As for me I prefer to read “Arguments and facts” and “Cooking”

P7 - What articles do you like to read?

P8 - As for me I like to read the articles about sport and animals.

Teacher: Children, let’s speak about one of the most popular Media – the radio. Please, change your hat, take red one. It helps us to express what do you like and don’t like in the radio? Please don’t forget to use such phrases as

- I like\ don’t like …

- I am fond of …

- I love …

P1 – I like to listen to the music on the radio.

P2 – As for me I don’t like to listen to the radio morning exercises.

P3 – I adore to listen to a pop music on the radio when I working in the garden.

P4 –I like to listen to classical music on the radio

P 5 – As for me I don’t like to take part in talk shows on the radio

Teacher – Nowadays the Internet is one of the most popular Mass Media all over the world. It has got many advantages. It helps us to talking with friends, to research and getting necessary information. In the Internet we can listen to music and watching TV, online shopping, etc. But there are some disadvantages of the Internet. Black hat will help us to find it. Look at the blackboard. Please use following phrases :

  • I am afraid but ...
  • I am sorry, but...
  • Internet has some disadvantages ...

P 1 - I am afraid but it promotes violence.

P2 - I am sorry, but it stops communicate with friends.

P3 – The Internet has some disadvantages: it damages your eyes; you have no time for sport.

P4 - It stops children from going out.

P5 - I am afraid but the Internet learns children about bad side of the life.

 

IV.Физминутка

Teacher – Let’s have a rest. Do sport’s minute. Please, stand up and repeat after me.

V.Совершенствование навыков монологической речи учащихся

Teacher – Thank you, sit down, please. It’s time to take green hat. Let’s check your hometask. You have prepared some information from the History of Mass Media. Boys, come to the blackboard and answer.

P2 – As for me I like “How to be a Millionaire? “ and “ What? Where? When?”

P2 – I like Maxim Galkin very much.

P1 - When does your favourite TV programme begin?

P 2 – it begins at 8 p.m. on Sundays.

P1. Do your relatives watch the programme with you?

P2 Yes, my parents watch TV programme with me?

 

Dialogue 2

P3 - What newspapers and magazines do you read?

P 4 – As for me I like to read “Zarya” and magazines about fashion and sport.

P3- How often do you read them?

P4- I read them every week.

P3 - What information are you usually interested in?

P4 – I usually you usually interested in sport news.

P3 - What do you think of teen's magazines?

P4 - I think that teen's magazines are interesting and educating.

P3 - Do you always follow the advice given in the magazines?

P 4 – Some times I do.

P3 - Do you enjoy looking at the photos?

P4 – I adore looking at the photos.

Dialogue 3

P5 What is more interesting to watch: a film or a cartoon?

P6 - As for me I like to watch as films as cartoons.

P 5 - What is you favourite cartoon?

P 6 – I enjoy watching “Tom and Jerry”. It’s fantastic!

P 5 - Why do you like it?

P6 – It’s very interesting, funny and I never tired to watch it again and again.

P 5 - Have you got any discs with cartoons at home?

P 6 – I have got a lot of it.

P 5 - What is your favourite film?

P 6 – I enjoy watching “Avatar”. It’s amazing!

P 5 - Do you like to watch films in the cinema or on video?

P 6 – I prefer the cinema.

P 5 - What films have you got at home?

P 6 – At home I have got a lot of films about love and animals.

 

Teacher – I have got a surprise for you. Helen has made a film about sport life of our Form. Please, watch and listen to her carefully.
