ЦЕЛИ:

практическая: активизировать лексический материал, совершенствовать навыки говорения, чтения, аудирования; учить пользоваться компьютером для выполнения тестового задания.

образовательная: расширять общее мировоззрение учащихся.

развивающая: развивать интеллектуальные и познавательные способности учащихся: память, внимание, воображение; развивать у учащихся ассоциативное и логическое мышление, практические навыки работы с ПК.

воспитательная: воспитывать у учащихся культуру шопинга; стимулировать интерес к обучению языку; воспитывать культуру пользования компьютером.

Тип урока: урок применения знаний, умений и навыков.

Оборудование: мультимедийная презентация, компьютеры, проектор, экран, рабочая тетрадь ученика, тестовое задание, аудиозапись текста, лексические карточки.

PROSEDURE

I. GREETING ( slide 1)

  • Good morning, children!
  • I’m glad to see you.
  • How are you? 1-2 m

 

II. AID (slide 2)

Т: The Topic of our lesson is “The Art of Shopping”. At our lesson we’ll:

  • speak about Shops and Shopping;
  • repeat the vocabulary of the Topic;
  • listen to the text;
  • read the text and answer the questions;
  • do the test using computer.

 

Problem Question ( slide 3)

At the end of our lesson you must give me the answer on this question:

“IS the shopping the important part of your life? Why? 1m

III. WARM-UP

  1. Associations (slide 4) 2,5m
  • Name the words that are connected with “Shopping”

Shop

  • I start – Shop
  1. Game “Bingo” (slide 5-6) 3m
  • In our associations there was a word SHOP. Let’s revise the names of the shops.
  • Look at the slide. What is this?

(WE can buy meat here.)

  • Let’s play memory game “Bingo”
  • I’ll give you 1 min to remember the pairs of the words and their places.
  • Then open two identical pictures and say “Bingo” and name them.

IV. MAIN PART

  • We continue working. We pass to another part of our lesson.
  • At your desks you can see your personal WB. Entitle it.
  • Open it. There are a lot of interesting tasks to do for you.
  • We start with first task.
  1. Comprehension (slide7-8) 4m
  • Listen to the text attentively for the first time and answer my question: “What holiday will be in the family of this boy?”
  • Look into your WB on the first task. It’s a test for this text.
  • Listen to the text for the second time and then answer the questions.
  1. Speaking (slide 9) 3m
  • We’ve just listened to the text about a boy who had gone shopping.
  • Would you like to go shopping?
  • On the blackboard you can see the different shops.
  • On your desk there are a lot of different goods.
  • Choose the pictures and say in what shop you can buy it?

FOR EXAMPLE: I can buy meat at the butcher’s.

  • Well done!

 

3. Relaxation (slide 10) 2m

  • We’ve worked a lot. But I see you are tired a bit. Let’s relax.

Sit comfortably. Close your eyes.
Breathe in. Breathe out.
Let’s pretend it’s summer. You are lying on a sandy beach. The weather is fine. A light wind is blowing from the sea. The birds are singing. You have no troubles. No serious problems. You are quiet. Your brain relaxes. There is calm in your body. Nothing diverts your attention. You are relaxing. (Pause)
Your troubles float away.
You love your relatives, your school, and your friends. They love you too. Learn to appreciate every good thing. The Earth is full of wonders. You can do anything. You are sure of yourself, that you have much energy. You are in good spirits.
Open your eyes. How do you feel?

4. Reading (slide 11) 8m

  • Continue working.
  • Do you like fashion clothes?
  • What designers do you know? Name them.
  • I prepared a very interesting text about famous Italian designer Valentino. Have you ever heard about him?
  • First read the text by yourselves.
  • Let’s read the text in turn one by one, 1 sentence.
  • What do you know new about Valentino? Describe his character?
  • How did he get into the fashion?
  • Who is the person he would most like to dress now?
  • Open your WB and do the task 2. 3m
  1. Test (slide12) 4m
  • Work in pairs. One of you do the test on computer, another – in your WB – quiz.

 

V. SUMMARIZING (slide 13-14)

  • Let’s turn back to our problem questions. Can we answer it? 1m
  • Now change your WB with your neighbor and check up his (her) work. True answer you can see on the slide. 2m
  • About your marks - you have marks on test, WB and I’d like to admit __ 1m

 

VI. HOME ASSIGNMENT (slide 15)

  • In you WB write down a shot composition “What meaning does have shopping for you” or make advertisement of your favourite goods.
  • Thank you very much for the lesson. You were brilliant students today. 1m
