Цели: закрепление изученного материала по теме «Литература и писатели англоязычных стран; совершенствование навыков устной речи, актуализация страноведческого материала.

Оборудование: костюмы и декорации к пьесе Шекспира «Король Лир», сцена актового зала, экран для показа презентации.

 

СЦЕНАРИЙ МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ

 

1. Организационный момент.

Ведущий: Hello, dear boys and girls! We are glad to greet you in our theatre. All children like watch films, plays, cartoons. Today we prepare for you an interesting play “The King Lear”. But now I want you to ask some questions about writers and poets of English-speaking countries. Look at the screen! (на экране появляется презентация-викторина, ведущий читает вопрос, учащиеся выбирают правильный ответ. Задание направлено на погружение школьников в мир англоязычной литературы и активизацию лексики по теме мероприятия)

Ведущий: You are clever! You know a lot of English-speaking literature!

Today we prepare for you an interesting play “The King Lear”. Let’s watch it with pleasure! Our actors and actress worked hard and made beautiful costumes themselves. Let’s meet them with applause! (поднимают занавес, играет фоновая классическая музыка (клавесин), актеры выходят на сцену). В центре сцены стоит трон, на котором восседает король. Рядом с троном, на полу сидит королевский шут. Сбоку стоят три девушки – дочери короля. Они подходят к королю по очереди.

 

Narrator: Once upon a time there lived an old king of Britain. His name was Lear. He had three daughters: Goneril, Regan and Cordelia. One day King Lear called his daughters and said to them:

King Lear: “I’m very old and tired. I cannot be the king of Britain any more. I want to divide the country into three parts and give one part to each of you. Each of you will be the queen of her part of the country. But first you must tell me how much you love me. Then I shall know which of you must get the better part.”

(играет классическая органная музыка)

Narrator: Goneril and Regan were not good daughters. They did not love their father. But they were very greedy. They only thought how to get the larger and better part of the country.

Goneril: “Dear father, I love you very much. I love you more than my eyes, more than my beauty, more than my life. No child loves his father more than I love you”.

(король доволен, он приветственно кивает головой дочери, Гонерилья отходит от короля, к королю подходит Регана)

 

Regan: “Dear father, I love you very much. I love you more than my life. I will be the best queen in the country.”

(король доволен, он приветственно кивает головой дочери, Регана отходит от короля)

 

Narrator: Cordelia knew that her sisters were bad daughters. She loved her father very much, but she did not want to repeat the words of her sisters. So she said nothing.

 

King Lear: “I want to hear my youngest daughter. (2 раза, с паузой). You must speak! (сказать настойчиво).

Cordelia: “I don’t understand why my sisters say that they love you more than anything else. They are married. Don’t they love their husbands? You are my father, and of course I love you. But when I marry, I shall love my husband, too.”

Narrator: King Lear did not like Cordelia’s words. He shouted at her and said that he did not want to have such a daughter.

King Lear: “I don’t want to have such a daughter and I divide the country between Goneril and Regan and give you nothing.

Narrator: some time later King Lear understood that Goneril and Regan didn’t really love him. When he needed help, home and food he understood that his youngest daughter was the best daughter. But it was too late.

(звучит классическая органная музыка, актеры кланяются зрителям и уходят со сцены). Аплодисменты зрителей

Ведущий. William Shakespeare is the greatest dramatist and writer in the world. It was a very long time ago, but everybody remembers Shakespeare’s name. His plays are translated into many languages, and many theatres in the world show them. Thanks to our actors for their work! Thank you for the game. Good-bye!
