Тип урока: комбинированный.

Оборудование: УМК «Spotlight 5», аудиозапись, раздаточный материал, проектор, экран.

Цели:

- развивающая: развивать умения и навыки говорения, чтения, письма, аудирования, расширение словарного запаса по теме «Мир Животных» .

- образовательная: создать условия для отработки навыков и умений в чтении, говорении, восприятии речи на слух в рамках темы « Мир Животных». Изучить употребление простого настоящего времени.

- воспитательная: воспитать толерантность, любовь к животным, стремление к взаимовыручке.

Средство обучения: УМК- Spotlight 5

Ход урока (lesson progress)

1. Organizational moment:

Т: Good morning, everyone! I’m glad to see you. I hope everybody is ready to work. Sit down please.

P-s: Good morning, teacher.

Т: How are you today? - What’s the weather like today?

P-s: The weather is __________

Т: What is the date today?

P-s: Today is the 17^th of November.

Т:What day is it today?

P-s: Today is Monday.

2. Setting goals of the lesson: (Постановка целей урока)

You have a lot of things to do this lesson. You will:

- tell what you see in the pictures;

- listen and repeat new words;

- discuss some Indian animals;

- guess the definitions on the topic «Animals»

- recall Present Simple;

- do a grammar exercise.

3. Improvement of your speaking and listening skills: (Улучшение навыков говорения и аудирования)

T: Now open your books on page 66. Read exercise number 1.You should look at the picture and say: Which country can you see ? Which continent is it in : Asia or Africa? What countries are next to it?

P-s:(предполагаемый ответ) We can see India in this picture. It is in Asia. Nepal,Pakistan and China are next to India.

T:You are right. Now we will speak about animals. You will hear a description of animals, and you should guess which animal is being described.

Ученики угадывают животных по описанию:

1)It is a large wild cat with a mane, that affects Africa. What kind of animal is it?- It is a …...(lion)

2)It is a large green reptile with a long body and a thick skin. What is it ?-

It is a ….(crocodile)

3) It is a large wild cat with a spotted coat. What animal is it?-

It is a…..(leopard)

4)It is a large desert animal with humps on the back. What is your answer?-

It is a…..(camel)

5)It is a large grey mammal with a long trunk. What is it?-

It is an….(elephant)

T: Very good! You guessed correct.

Now look at the picture on page 66 again. Listen and repeat the words. Then copy them in your vocabularies.

4.Development of speaking and reading skills.(Развитие навыков говорения и чтения)

T: Look at the title of the text «Animals of India» on page 67. What animals do you think it is about? Read the text one by one and find the names of :-three countries; -five animals;-five colours ; -five other adjectives. Fill in the table: (

5.Improvement of your grammar skills (Улучшение грамматических навыков)

T:Pupils, we should revise some rules of using Present Simple.

T; You will get cheat sheets to recall some rules and do some grammar exercises. (Ученики получают памятки с правилами употребления простого настоящего времени и выполняют указанные упражнения для закрепления материала.)

 

We use Present Simple with :
-a situation that is more or less permanent	He lives in Russia.
-repeated actions	He goes for a walk on Saturdays.

Spelling rules

3rd Person Singular

Verb+s	I eat - he eats I like – she likes
Verb –ss/-sh/-ch/-x/-o + es	I go – he goes I wash – she washes
Verb ending in a consonant + y-- ies	I cry –he cries !BUT I say –he says

 

T: Practice our grammar skills.

Read exercise 8 on page 67 and do it by yourself. Then we will check.
