Before watching activity (A little warm up using TPR technique) 1)Students should repeat all teacher’s actions twice
2) Teacher prepared some drawings of food) Students should repeat the phrase “to eat pie (cheese, fish)” and to show their emotions whether they like food or not. They might use the phrases : “hmm, tasty” hmm, yummy or “ugh, not tasty” “fie, not yummy” All phrases should be repeated twice. It is possible to use a random order. While watching activity 3)Students watch the video for the first time and find out the names of the main animals Also they should answer one question. “Why Hippo is greedy?” 4) Students watch the story again and put the sentences in the right order. It is possible to watch the video twice. (Teacher should prepare the cards with these sentences for everyone)

5) Students should draw a line to match the picture and the word (Teacher should prepare the task for everyone)

Let`s stand up for a little warm up. Please, repeat after me all my words and my actions. To eat (teacher shows how to eat or how to chew) Hmm, tasty (teacher shows that he/she likes food) Hmm, yummy (teacher shows that he/she likes food) Ugh, not tasty (teacher shows that he/she doesn’t like food) Fie, not yummy (teacher shows that he/she doesn’t like food) To jump ( teacher jumps) To shout (teacher shows how to shout) To pull (teacher shows how to pull) To run (teacher shows the process of running, standing in one place to avoid disorganization) To be angry (teacher shows disaffection and anger using gestures and facial expressions) Tummy ache (teacher shows stomach ache touching his/her own stomach) To look (teacher shows how to look using his/her palm)

Now Hippo he was selfish. He ate everybody’s food. ‘Thanks,’ he said, ‘I’ll eat it now. I’ve nothing else to do.’ There was a greedy hippo. He ate everything in sight. The animals all pulled and pulled, as hard as they were able. Hippo learned his lesson. It was the end of all their troubles. They made a pie from fish and soap to make old Hippo sick.
