План-конспект урока по английскому языку для 6 класса по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»

Цель урока: Формирование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона».

Задачи урока:

  1. 1.Активизировать и расширить лексический запас учащихся по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона».
  2. 2.Развивать навыки поискового аудирования (просмотр видео с установкой на понимание конкретной информации).
  3. 3.Совершенствовать навыки монологической речи и диалогической речи.
  4. 4.Отработать грамматические конструкции There is / There are с неопределенными местоимениями a/an, some, any.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.

Teacher: Good morning, my dear friends! I'm glad to see you. Take your seats, please.

  1. What date is it today?
  2. What day of the week is it?
  3. What season is it now?
  4. Look out of the window. What is the weather like today?

Excellent! And now, listen to the sound and look at the pictures (звук Биг-Бена и картинки с достопримечательностями Лондона).
What city comes to your mind? What are we going to talk about today?

Teacher: Yes, you are right. The theme of our lesson «Sights of London». Today we'll visit its famous places and learn how to ask for directions.

 

2. Фоно-речевая зарядка.

Before we travel, let's practice the sounds. Listen and repeat the English words and sounds after me.

[i] - symbol, street, cathedral

[æ] – travel, gallery, palace

[[ju:] - museum, new, tube

[ ei] – stadium, stadium, place,

[a:] – market, castle, garden, park

Teacher: Who wants to read the words with the sound [i]. Well done.

Teacher: Now let's name the most famous sights of London. Repeat after me (учитель показывает картинки на слайде, дети хором повторяют)

Монологическая речь (Доклады учащихся)

Teacher: Your homework was to prepare information about famous places. Now let's listen to your classmates. (Выступают 5 - 6 учеников с небольшими докладами)
But there's a task for everyone! While listening, try to remember new facts about each place.

(после каждого доклада учитель задает вопросы)

2. Where do the Houses of Parliament stand?

3. Who built Saint Paul’s Cathedral?

4. Where is Trafalgar Square situated?

5. What is the Tower of London?

6. Who lives and works in Buckingham Palace?

Teacher: Look at the screen. Match the places and the facts. Do it in your copybooks.

1. Covent Garden A - The Queen sometimes lives there.

2. Harrods B - It is a modern version of Shakespeare’s theatre.

3. Museums C- It is a famous department store.

4. The Globe D - It is not a garden. You can buy presents and souvenirs there.

5. Trafalgar Square E - The statue of Admiral Nelson is there.

6. Buckingham Palace F - You go there to see Egyptian mummies or dinosaurs.

4. Грамматика (There is / There are + a/an/some/any)

Teacher: Let's remember the rules. When do we use "there is" and "there are"? (На доске правило)

RULE:

There is + singular (ед.ч.)

There are + plural (мн.ч.)

a/an — только с ед.ч.

some — в утверждениях (исчисл. мн.ч. и неисчисл.)

any — в вопросах и отрицаниях

(дети выполняют задание в карточках)
