Цель: проверка восприятия на слух и выборочного понимания текста по теме «Путешествия, проблемы на отдыхе» (задания с множественным выбором)

Задачи:

Образовательная - формирование и развитие ключевых компетентностей учащихся в различных видах речевой деятельности, межпредметных навыков и умений;

Развивающая - расширение кругозора учащихся; развивать внимание и память учащихся, познавательный интерес, творческие способности;

Воспитательная – создание ситуации для развития мотивации к самостоятельному добыванию знаний, самодисциплине; воспитывать уважительное отношение к культуре страны изучаемого языка, воспитание культуры общения.

Оборудование: компьютер, колонки, раздаточный материал.

Форма работы: индивидуальная.

Разработка предназначена для учащихся 8 класса средней школы. Включает в себя аудиозапись, скрипт и 5 вопросов к аудиозаписи с выбором ответа.

Last summer, I went on a week-long beach holiday with high hopes of rest and relaxation. On the first day, I lay in the sun for too long and completely forgot about sunscreen. By evening, my shoulders and back were bright red and sore—I couldn’t move.

The next morning, I went down to the reception only to find out that the hotel had lost my booking. All available rooms were occupied. I had to find another place to stay.

When I finally got to my new room, I realized that my suitcase had not arrived. The airline lost it somewhere, I spent half a day making a statement about the loss of baggage and calling the baggage department, expecting them to promise to deliver it “by tomorrow morning.”

In the meantime, I was looking forward to refreshing myself, but the hotel's pool was closed for maintenance all week. A large sign on the gate said that the filters were being cleaned, so it was impossible to dive into the water.

On the fourth evening, I decided to cheer myself up by having dinner at the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, I must have eaten something bad, because later that night I woke up with stomachache and food poisoning.

Finally, on the day of my return flight, I arrived at the airport early, but found that my plane was delayed by three hours due to technical checks. After all these troubles — sunburn, loss of reservation, missing luggage, pool closure, food poisoning and flight delays—I was more than happy to return home. What a holiday it was!
