Цель мероприятия – повышение мотивации у студентов колледжа к изучению английского языка.

Задачи:

Образовательные: изучение страноведческой информации о Великобритании и англоговорящих странах, расширение кругозора, повышение мотивации у студентов к обучению.

Развивающие: развивать память, логику, самостоятельное мышление, иноязычную речь и познавательные интересы у учащихся.

Воспитательные: формирование навыков, убеждений, чувств, профессионально-значимых психологических и социально-психологических качеств личности у студентов, создание атмосферы коллективного поиска, эмоциональной приподнятости, радости познания, воспитание уважения к странам изучаемого языка.

Оборудование: карточки с заданиями.

Метод: эвристическая беседа, викторина.

Ход мероприятия

1. Организационный момент:

Teacher: Dear students! Nice to see you at our event! Are you alright? I hope everyone has a good mood!

Students: It’s nice to meet you too!

1. Постановка цели и задач урока. Мотивация учебной деятельности студентов.

Today we will take you on an interesting virtual trip to English-speaking countries such as Great Britain, America, and Australia.

The journey is long and interesting, so we take with us the friendliest, bravest and quick-witted. In order to get to know the English language better, we will complete the exercises, and you will receive points for the correct answer. Whoever gets the most points wins the quiz.

The guests who will represent the class jury will help us.

At this event, we will learn more about the traditions, culture and mentality of English-speaking countries, as well as learn new words. Let’s start!
