Внеклассное мероприятие «Хэллоуин»

Цель : стимулировать интерес учащихся к изучению предмета

 

Метапредметные результаты:

Личностные:

- формировать ответственное отношение к учению, готовности к саморазвитию и самообразованию;

- формировать коммуникативную компетенцию в общении и сотрудничестве со сверстниками;

– воспитывать уважение к традициям и обычаям как части культуры англоязычных стран;

— воспитывать интерес к самостоятельному чтению на английском языке.

Регулятивные:

– формировать умения к целеполаганию и планированию путей достижения целей;

– самостоятельный контроль своего времени.

Познавательные:

– формировать умения сравнивать и анализировать, использовать для решения познавательных и коммуникативных задач различные источники информации;

- формировать умения аудирования и чтения.

Коммуникативные:

– формировать умения работать в паре, в группе формулировать собственное мнение и позицию;

- освоить языковые структуры для отображения своих мыслей и чувств.

 

 

Ход мероприятия

Welcome to our party, dear guests! We are glad to see you here. Every country has its own traditions, cultures, songs, dances. Let’s have one of the British holiday today!

 

It’s Halloween! It’s Halloween!
The moon is full and bright.
And we shall see what can’t be seen

On any other night!
 

Skeletons and ghosts and ghouls
Grinning goblins fighting duels
Werewolves rising from their tombs,

Witches on their magic brooms.
 

In masks and gowns we haunt the street
And knock on doors for trick or treat.
Tonight we are the king and queen,

For all tonight it’s Halloween!

Появление ребят в костюмах под устрашающую музыку. Обучающиеся наряжены в костюмы ведьм, монстров, призраков, пиратов, черных кошек, мумий и др. Ребята выходят по одному, проходят по рядам зрителей, дотрагиваются до них. Затем все собираются в центре. И поют песню.

За тем входят ведьма и её помощницы - черная кошка и маленькая ведьма. Включается свет и вся нечистая сила разбегается. Остаются ведьма и помошницы.

A witch: Hello, my dear friends! Do you know me? I’m a witch. My name is Ms Darkness. I’m glad to see you black cats, devils, ghosts, witches, vampires tonight. And this is my helper Black cat and small witch. Today we will celebrate Halloween together!

I’m an English witch, so speak English, please! I see you are happy. I don’t like happy children. We have got a little surprise for you. I have a black bag. Now guess, what is there in the black bag? Touch it. What is it? (В мешке игрушечный паук. Ведущая предлагает ребятам потрогать и угадать что в мешке. Затем просит достать его из мешка).

Brave children! / Ha! Ha! Ha! My joke is great! You are scared. It’s just a spider.

A witch: Today is Halloween night. The thirty-first of October. My friends, do you remember the history of Halloween? Look at the board. You can see some information about traditions of Halloween. (Просмотр презентации)

Now answer my questions:

 

1. When do British people celebrate Halloween? (On the thirty first of October)
2. What do children dress up on the 31^st of October? (black cats, devils, ghosts, witches, vampires, goblins, skeletons)
3. What is their traditional question? (Trick-or-treat)
4. Name symbols of Halloween. (pumpkin, ghost, witch, hat, black cat, castle, grave, bat)
5. What do people cook for holiday dinner on Halloween? (Barm brack - bread with candied fruit, Candy Corn - sweets, colcanon – potato pudding, apples in caramel, pumpkin pie)

Jack – O’ – Lantern – Hi, everybody. My name is Jack, you know. I’ve been wandering around the Earth for hundreds of years. I am so tired. People don’t like me, but I want to talk to them. I am so glad to have come to your party. One of the ancient traditions on Halloween was story telling. I know so many interesting stories and I won’t go until I tell you one of them.

История (рассказывает один ученик)

 

It was Halloween night so my sisters and I decided to go trick-or-treating. By the time we got to the last house in the street, it was very late and we were tied. The house looked empty, but we knocked anyway. The door opened on its own. We were scared. Suddenly, we heard a loud noise and a huge creature jumped out in front us.

“Don’t de afraid, it’s just an owl,” said the voice from behind us.

We turned around and saw an old lady at the bottom of the stairs.

“Hello, I’m Mrs Shade. Let me give you some treats, you naughty little ghosts!”

When we finally got home, our Mum was very worried. “Where were you?”

“Don’t worry, mum. We were at Mrs Shade’s house. We gave us treats and…”

Mum looked puzzled. “What are you talking about?” she said. “Mrs Shade was died ten years ago!”

 

Jack – O’ – Lantern It was very interesting story. I must go now. Good bye!!

A small witch

Well, well, well. It’s time for fun has come. Let’s play the game “Bobbing for apples”. Apples are in a bowl of water. Let someone try to catch an apple with his teeth. (игра «Поймай яблоко»)

Well done! The next game. Now let’s make another two monsters together. I’ve got three toilet rolls. And I need 6 persons. Do it as fast as you can. (игра «Сделай мумию»)

Excellent!!! And now we sing a song:

When spooky dreams come true

When scary creatures, big and small

Will play their tricks on you

When shivers run down your spine

Shadows grow

And red eyes glow
