Внеклассное мероприятие на английском языке для учащихся 9 "А" класса

МОУ СОШ "Перспектива" городского округа Власиха Московской области.

Составитель: Михалёва Ольга Викторовна, учитель английского языка высшей категории.

Дата проведения: 05.12.2019 года.

Цели проведения:

Обучающая: Познакомить учащихся с традициями Соединённых Штатов Америки на примере празднования Дня Благодарения (последний четверг ноября);

заинтересовать учащихся в изучении английского языка, как средства для знакомства с традициями англоязычных стран; развитие навыков монологической речи; дальнейшее развитие коммуникативных умений для стимуляции речевого творчества каждого ученика, расширение социо-культурной компетенции учащихся.

Развивающая: Формирование ключевых компетенций в области информационных технологий, в проектно-аналитической деятельности, развитие творческого мышления.

Воспитательная: Расширять кругозор о стране изучаемого языка, воспитывать уважение к иноязычной культуре; развитие навыков работы в команде, приобретение навыков публичного выступления; воспитание культуры учащихся средствами иностранного языка, воспитание нравственности, уважения к другим людям.

Оборудование: Компьютер, проектор, доступ к Интернету, карточки с заданиями, презентация для сопровождения мероприятия, изображения тыквы для рефлексии, карточки с названиями команд "PUMPKIN", "TURKEY", "MAYFLOWER".

Использованы педагогические технологии: игровая, работа в малых группах, информационно-коммуникационные, коммуникативная, арт-технология.

Ход мероприятия:

1. Вступительное слово о Дне Благодарения.

Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to our party, dedicated to the most important holidays in the calendar of the United States of America.

There is one day a year when all Americans stay at home with their families and celebrate it with big dinners. This day is the fourth Thursday in November, it is called Thanksgiving Day. It is a public holiday and on this day Americans give thanks to God, Our Lord, for all the blessings they have enjoyed during the year.
