Цели урока: Образовательные: организовать деятельность учащихся по изучению и обработке языкового материала, обеспечить коммуникационную направленность обучения и естественность общения, познакомить учащихся с особенностями образа жизни современного поколения подростков, расширять кругозор учащихся. Воспитательные: формирование мотивации к изучению английского языка, воспитывать чувство коллективизма, умение работать в группах. Развивающие: способствовать совершенствованию навыков чтения и восприятия речи на слух, развивать мышление, воображение, логику, внимание, развитие умений выражать собственное мнение, ведение умений поискового чтения
Задачи:	Освоить во всех речевых видах деятельности новые лексические единицы по теме «Современные технологии» Обработать пройденную лексику в речевых упражнениях Уметь выделять основную мысль в тексте Закрепить умение распознавать изученные лексические единицы в прочитанном тексте

Well, I suggest you to discuss an interesting theme. This part of our lesson will be debate. I welcome you to discuss the theme.

Do multi-tasking and gadgets have a bad impact?

How about you? Do you think this good or bad?

Well, I suggest you to divide into two groups. The first one will try to prove the idea that gadgets are good. You will be the team of Proposers. OK! Another group feels strongly against the gadgets. OK, you are the team of Opposers.

You should make up a list of advantages and disadvantages using gadgets in our life. Two groups should argue with each other by making arguments. I`ll give you the phrases, that help you to express agreement and disagreement.

Well, now I remember you what is necessary to be a good speaker.

 

Work as a team and always support each other.

*Listen to your opponents carefully.

*Make notes while your opponents are speaking to keep track of their ideas.

*Try to answer your opponents’ questions giving reasons for your opinion.

*Be polite and disciplined during the debate.

You have five minutes. Let`s start.

Thank you for your ideas. According to your opinion after discussion we came to the conclusion that modern life can`t exist without using gadgets every day. It`s a part of our life. But we should remember that multi-tasking and gadgets have a good and a bad impact. Young people should use them partially and don`t forget that face-to-face communication can`t be replaced or denied.
