Цели урока:

  • обеспечить в ходе урока освоение новой лексики по теме «Моя семья. Любимые занятия членов моей семьи, моих друзей»;
  • создать условия для отработки навыков анализа такого грамматического явления, как Past Simple;
  • способствовать формированию целостного представления о семейных отношениях, о любимых занятиях в выходные;
  • совершенствовать навыки монологической и диалогической речи у учащихся.

Задачи урока:

  • Учебные:
    • на базе имеющихся знаний, умений, навыков, совершенствуя их, обучать школьников навыкам аудирования, чтения, говорения и письма;
    • практиковаться в монологической речи, в диалогическом общении, в переводе с русского языка на английский устно;
    • совершенствовать навыки пения на английском языке;
    • развивать грамматические навыки.
    • познакомить с любимыми занятиями королевской семьи.
  • Развивающие:
    • развивать познавательные процессы, память, воображение;
    • развивать мыслительные навыки: обобщение, систематизация, логическое и образное мышление;
    • формировать познавательные умения: задавать вопросы и отвечать на них, доказывать, рассуждать;
    • развивать и формировать интеллектуальную атмосферу на уроке.
  • Воспитательные:
    • воспитывать уважительное отношение к окружающим тебя людям;
    • воспитывать трудолюбие, способствовать развитию отзывчивости, взаимопомощи, взаимоуважения.
  • Социокультурная задача: Развивать уважение и толерантное отношение к культуре страны изучаемого языка.
  • Оформление доски: записи на доске, рисунки

Оснащение урока: презентация Power Point, аудиозаписи к заданиям по аудированию, видеозапись к физминутке.

Оборудование: ноутбук, доска, рисунки, карта урока.

  • Good morning, my dear girls and boys! I am very glad to see you. Sit down, please.

- Look at the pictures and write the correct words to know the topic of our lesson:

- What can you say about the topic of our lesson? (Family. Favourite occupations.)

- Yes, today we shall talk about our family, about our home duties, occupations; we shall remember the regular and irregular verbs, we shall play and sing. We must show our knowledge and know something new.

  • - Today we shall have an unusual lesson. We will travel around the country “Knowledge” by train. Look at the map, there will be 8 stations there: Poetic, Duties, Grammar, Talking, Musical, and Listening.
  • You must divide into two teams. The captain of the first team will be the Queen-…; the captain of the second team will be the King-…. The first team will pronounce the sound [t], the 2-nd team- the sound [d], … and … will be our horn (гудок) , they will pronounce the sound [u:]. Let’s pronounce! [t],[d],[u:]

- For every right answer I’ll give you medals. Let’s go!

III. Основная часть урока

    1. The station Poetic

- The 1-st station is Poetic. You are to read the poem about the family members. Look at the screen, read the poem expressively and loudly.

I have a father,

I have a mother,

I have a sister,

I have a brother.

Father, mother, sister, brother,

Hand in hand with one another!

  • That’s right! Thank you! Medals for you!
  • Now go further to the next station!
    1. The station Listening (групповая работа)

- Listen to the tape about Mag’s family once more and remember what they like to do at the weekends. Then look at the word combinations and match them with the transcriptions in your groups.

3) The station Grammar

- Look at the screen and guess what my family members like to do. I want to tell you about my family member’s occupations.

- It’s me. What do I like to do? (C)

- I like to read books and to swim.

- What does my husband like to do?

- My husband likes to drive and to draw for our daughters.

- What do my daughters like to do?

- They like to play with dolls and puzzles. My elder daughter likes to draw and to help about the house.

- But all of us like to have a rest together near the river and to gather the mushrooms in the summer forest.

- Tell me please, who likes to gather mushrooms? Here are the baskets for you. You will put the mushrooms with the regular verbs to the first basket and the mushrooms with the irregular verbs to the second basket. Come to the blackboard one by one and put them into the baskets. Say the verbs in the Past tense:

- The first team what can you say about regular verbs? How are they formed? (They are formed with the help of the ending - ed).

- The 2-nd team where you can find the irregular verbs? (At the table of irregular verbs).

4) The station News

- The next station is the News, there we must know something new.(Слайд)

- Look at the screen and try to tell me who are they? (This is the Royal Family)

- Who is the Queen of Great Britain? (The Queen Elizabeth II)

- What is her favorite occupation? (Horse riding, dog breeding-разведение собак, верховая езда)

- What can you say about this man?

- Who is this? (Prince William)

-What is his favorite occupations? (Cooking, flying on the plane, sport)

- Can we say that this family is very happy? (Yes)

- Who can say that their family is happy too?

- Now let’s go to the further station and show your happiness! Stand up, please.

5) The station Music (Физкультминутка)

- Let’s show to the guests that we are happy and sing the song “If you are happy and you know it”?, dance and have a rest.

- Thank you for your dancing!

- Go further to the next station!

6) The station Homework

- I am sure that you are great helpers, but everyone has their favourite occupations at home.

- At home you were to prepare the pictures of your family members and their occupations.

- Who wants to tell us about your family member’s favorite occupations and duties? ( по готовым рисункам)

6) The station Drama

- At this station we will play the game “Mime and guess”. Say what your classmates did yesterday. You are to show without any word.

7) The station Listening (Групповая работа)

- This is the station Listening.

- We knew that you help to your parents.

- Now you are to listen to the dialogues. There will be 4 dialogues. Work in groups. Listen and say: What did Alex do on Friday (on Saturday, on Sunday, on Tuesday)?

1. – Alex, where were you on Friday?

- I visited my grandpa and grandma.

- Did you help them in the garden?

- No, my grandpa and I repaired my bike.

Answer: Alex visited his grandpa and grandma. Alex and his grandpa repaired his bike.

2. - Alex, what did you do on Saturday?

- I was in the kitchen in the morning.

-In the kitchen? But why?

- My mum had her birthday on Saturday. I made a big banana cake for her.

- Really? Did your mother like it?

- Yes, she said it was wonderful.

Answer: Alex made a big banana cake for his mother on Saturday.

3. – What about Sunday, Alex?

- Oh, I went to the country on Sunday.

- Did you go to the country with your mum and dad?

-Yes, and we had a picnic there.

Answer: Alex and his parents went to the country on Sunday. They had a picnic there.

4. – Alex, did you go to the park Tuesday afternoon?

- No, I was at home.

- What did you do?

- I did my homework all Tuesday afternoon. I had a lot of homework.

Answer: Alex did his homework on Tuesday.
