Обучение пересказу. Краткое изложение прочитанного с использованием приёма SOMEBODY(кто-то), WANTED (хотел), BUT (но), SO (поэтому), THEN ( потом), FINALLY (в конечном итоге).

Одна из проблем, с которой сталкиваются учителя английского языка, это – как научить учащихся кратко пересказывать прочитанное. Однако для большинства учащихся пересказ текста является непосильной задачей, не знает ученик, что и как делать с текстом. Изучая различные приёмы обучения краткого изложения прочитанного в зарубежной методике, я обратила внимание на приёмы, которые предоставляют учащимся возможность критически переработать информацию, овладев алгоритмом пересказа.

Для примера возьмем простой рассказ и разберемся, как его лучше пересказать

Robot Runs Away

Are robots really happy to work for humans? Recently, a robot ran away to be free. Scientists in the Russian city of Perm tested a new, smart robot called “Promobot”. Someone forgot to close the door to the testing area. A robot went through the door and it travelled about 16 feet (50 meters) when its batteries died. Russian Channel TV showed that the robot stopped in the middle of a roadway. It caused a traffic jam. Scientists later came to get the robot after about 50 minutes. Oleg Kivokurtsev, who works at the testing center, said, “Our engineer drove onto the testing ground and forgot to close the gates.. So the robot escaped and went on his little adventure.” No one was hurt.

Использование данных приёмов делает чтение увлекательным для учащихся и в то же время развивающим речевые навыки.
