Цель урока: Образовательная: расширение кругозора учащихся на основе культурно-исторического материала о Лондоне, формирование навыков слушания на английском языке, обучение диалогическому высказыванию.

Воспитательная: формирование навыков и умений интеллектуального труда, привитие положительных качеств личности, развитию самостоятельности школьников, коммуникативных навыков.

Развивающая: развитие речи (обогащение словарного запаса), памяти, внимания и мышления.

Дидактическая задача урока: на основе знакомых и новых лексических единиц учить правильному произношению звуков [w], [ð] в речи, в диалогическом высказывании.

Учебный материал урока: лексические единицы (слова и словосочетания), перечислить звуки.

Формы работы: фронтальная, групповая, индивидуальная.

Планируемый результат:

Предметные:

- знать основные слова и выражения по теме;

- уметь применять изученную лексику в английской речи;

- формирование учебно-познавательного интереса к новому учебному материалу

Личностные:

- самоорганизация, ценностное отношение к совместной познавательной деятельности, самооценка;

- формирование интереса к способам решения исследовательских задач.

Метапредметные:

Регулятивные: целеполагание,прогнозирование;
Коммуникативные: умение (работать в коллективе, помогать друг другу), умение высказать свои мысли на английском языке;

Познавательные: моделирование, умение анализировать, структурировать и обобщать знания.

 

Ход урока:

 

 

  1. Good morning, children. I’m glad to see you. Sit down. Today we will have an unusual lesson. Do you like to travel?

Imagine that you are tourist from Russia, and I’m your guide. My name is Gyunel Fizulievna. Today we will travel in the sherlock holme's city. it has big clock tower, hometown of queen. There is the biggest underground?

What is this city?

You are right. It’s London. The capital of Great Britain. So, we will travel around London.

Guys, transport is important for travelling

What kind of travelling do you know?

We will visit some places of interest on a red double-decker bus.

Double-decker bus is a bus that has two storeys or decks.

It is one of the symbols of Great Britain.

 

  1. Gyus, you are on a bus. Look through the window. What the weather like today?

What season is it?

Do you like winter?

Do you have birthday in winter?

Guys, let’s see what weather is preferable for the trip.

What the weather do you prefer to travel?

As for me, I prefer to travel in summer. What about you?

  1. Let’s start our journey. And now you can see one of the symbols of the great city. What is it? That’s right/ it is Big Ben. You have to go up 374 steps to reach the top. Originally, Big Ben is a tower . it’s one of the highest towers of Westminster Palace. Officially, the clock has started its work on 31 may 1859. What did you know about Big Ben?

The next sight is Buckingham palace. Look guys, how beautiful is it. Buckingham palace is the place where British kings and queens live when they are in London. Important visitors often go to the palace and meet queen Elizabeth and the royal family. A lot of tourists come to Buckingham palace every day to see the Changing of the Guards. And you have a chance to see The Changing of the guards.

 

  1. Before reaching the next sight of London, let’s sing a song. That was very good piece of work.

 

  1. Look, now we are near Trafalgar Square. Trafalgar square is the centre of London. It is the most beautiful place in London. There is the monument of admiral Nelson. Four brounze lions look at the square from the monument. There are two beautiful fountains in the square. People jump into the fountains fully clothed and enjoy themselves. To the right of the square there is the National Gallery which has a fine collection of European paintings. So, what can you see in Trafalgar Square?

 

  1. Do you hear? Tourists from China cannot find a way to Trafalgar Square. Lets help them and put this sentences in the correct order. And now let’s check up. Well done.
