Тема: «Souvenirs from around the world»

Цель: повторение и закрепление лексического и грамматического материала по темам “Countries and nationalities”, “My things”, “Souvenirs”; повышение интереса учащихся к изучению английского языка и к стране изучаемого языка

Задачи:

Образовательные:

- расширить лингвистический кругозор и эрудицию учащихся;

Развивающие:

- развивать языковую догадку, внимание и логическое мышление;

Воспитательные:

- воспитывать чувство взаимопомощи и уважительного отношения к отвечающим;

- воспитание чувства взаимопомощи;

- воспитание культуры общения;

Практические:

- активизировать и закрепить лексику по темам “Countries and nationalities”, “My things”, “Souvenirs”;

- повторить грамматический материал: have/has got, plurals, that/those – this/ these;

- повысить интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка.

Планируемые результаты:

Предметные:

- закрепление языковых навыков (фонетических, грамматических, лексических) в рамках темы «souvenirs from around the world»;

- совершенствование навыка говорения;

Метапредметные:

- научиться самостоятельно определять цели своего обучения;

- научиться соотносить свои действия с планируемыми результатами;

- научиться организовывать учебное сотрудничество;

Личностные:

- развитие мотивов учебной деятельности и формирование личностного смысла учения осознавать степень усвоения материала;

- формирование устойчивого познавательного интереса;

- формирование ответственного отношения к культуре других стран;

- формирование ответственного отношения к обучению;

 

Оборудование: рабочие листы, компьютер, проектор, часы (таймер), мультимедийная презентация Power Point, грамоты для награждения команды-победителя, жетоны для деления детей на команды.

Ход мероприятия

1. Орг. момент

- Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you! Sit down, please. So, today we have unusual lesson. First of all I’d like to ask my traditional question:

- How are you today?

- Who is on duty today?

- What date is it today?

- What day is it?

- What is the weather today?

2. Знакомство с темой мероприятия, актуализация знаний

- Let’s remember the topic of your last lesson.

(На прошлом уроке дети изучали тему «Culture corner: UK souvenirs». Учебник Spotlight-5 стр.41)

- Yes, you are right! Today we are going to visit an unusual shop, a shop where you can buy something interesting when you are in another country.

- So, look at the screen, and read the title. СЛАЙД 1

- What’s a souvenir? A piece of art? The memory of a trip to a country? Name the souvenirs you already know! (ответы детей)

3. Изучение нового

Порядок работы следующий: просмотр презентации с картинками и текстом, чтение, обсуждение. Ребята совместно с учителем изучают наиболее популярные сувениры различных стран, читают их описания и переводят. Отвечают на вопросы по прочитанному, делятся личным опытом (а у вас есть…? А вы были там…? и т.д.), повторяют национальности стран.

4. Выполнение практических заданий (предварительно разделить детей на 3 команды)

- First of all, divide into groups and pull out the figures. (деление на команды: в конверте 3 разные геометрические фигуры, дети вытягивают по одной и распределяются по группам, т.е. дети, которые вытянули квадраты – одна группа, треугольники – другая, круги - третья)

Учитель выдает конверты с заданиями (рабочими листами).
