Цели:

-расширение знаний обучающихся о наукограде;

- воспитание уважительного отношения к труду работников космической отрасли;

- развитие чувства гордости за достижения космической отрасли и её вклад в развитие страны;

- стимулирование интереса обучающихся к изучению английского языка.

Задачи:

- формировать умение работать в команде;

- развивать умение воспринимать информацию на слух;

-совершенствовать умение отвечать на вопросы;

- развивать познавательный интерес к изучению родного края.

Оборудование:

- компьютерная презентация, проектор

Ход мероприятия

Организационный момент.

Ведущий: Good afternoon! Welcome to “Jeopardy” We are going to answer the question ‘Who knows our science town Korolyov better? Now it’s time to learn more than others about our hometown! At the screen you can see 5 categories “Science”, “ History”, “Streets“ , “Outstanding people” and “ Miscellaneous”.

Korolyov is closely connected with science, so you are to answer the questions on science and space. It is a young town but it has a rich history. A lot of streets are named after outstanding people. Some of their names, such as Korolyov and Tsiolkovsky, you know very well. But some names you should know because you live in Korolyov. Outstanding people are great people in history who have contributed or achieved something important. “Miscellaneous” contains different questions on various topics.

Each team chooses a category and a number and answers a question. It’s better to give a full answer. If your team can’t answer the question, your opponent can give the answer and get an additional point. Let’s start our game! Good luck!

5. In this house a chief designer, the founder of practical astronautics Sergey Korolyov lived from 1946 till 1957. What street is it? (Karla Libnehta street)
