Sport quest «Faster! Higher! Stronger!”

Hello, Dear students. Today we‘re glad to see you at our sport quest «Faster! Higher! Stronger!”

We’ve got 4 teams. I think you’re strong, sporty, fast and smart enough to do our tasks. The captains come to me, please and choose your rout sheet.

We have got 5 stations. All members of your teams should do the tasks properly to get the highest points.

Write down the names of your teams on the sheets.

Now introduce your teams, please.

Don't forget that your supporters can add points to your score if they are active and can give supports in English!

Station 1. Jumping and reading.

Task. Jump on the rope and read the text. (Прыгают на скакалке, считаем сколько раз + читают текст - проверяем правильность - максимум баллов- количество прыжков+10баллов)

Station 2. Wordsearch puzzle.

Task. Find and circle the words in the word search puzzle and number the pictures. (за 5 мин найти как можно больше слов, 1 балл за каждое правильное слово- максимум 16 баллов)

Station 3. Basketball.

Task. Name the equipment and throw the ball into the basket.

(называют спорт оборудование и бросают мяч в кольцо - максимум 18 баллов)

Station 4. Riddles.

Task. Choose the correct answer. (Выбирают правильный ответ –максимальнй балл - 12 баллов)

 

Station 5. Chinese sticks.

Task. Move the balls with the help of sticks. Each ball has got words from the proverb, put the words in the correct order to make a proverb, guess the Russian equivalent.

1. A sound mind in a sound body.
В здоровом теле здоровый дух.

2. After dinner sit a while, after supper walk a mile.
После обеда посиди, после ужина милю пройди.

3. The best of the sport is to do the deed and to say nothing.
Лучший спорт – совершать поступки без лишних слов.

4. In sports and journeys men are known.
Люди познаются в спорте и в путешествиях.
