Лингво-театральный проект по мотивам фольклорных произведений на английском языке «Educational show for kids»

Аннотация проекта:

Целью изучения иностранного языка является формирование умений общаться на иностранном языке с учетом речевых возможностей и потребностей школьников. Важно показать учащимся практическое применение их знаний, умений и навыков. Применение лингво-театральных проектов на уроках английского языка и во внеурочной деятельности очень органично вписывается в современную тенденцию приоритета развития коммуникативных навыков учащихся. Драматизация необходима в процессе обучения и воспитания школьников. Увлекательный мир спектаклей, песен, игр, импровизаций оказывает неоценимую помощь в формировании и развитии языковой компетенции, решении задач эстетического воспитания, в развитии творческих способностей детей.

Гуманное отношение к ученикам, индивидуальная оценка результатов их деятельности, учет их способностей помогает преодолеть психологический страх говорения и способствует оптимизации процесса мыслеизъявления на английском языке. Восполнение пробелов в обучении происходит через активизацию креативного потенциала ребенка.

Актуальность проекта обусловлена возможностью овладеть коммуникативными компетенциями, расширить культурологический кругозор учащихся, повысить их творческую активность.

Новизна данного проекта заключается в его гуманистической направленности и возможности осуществить перенос учебных знаний на практику, в ситуации, в которых организуется свободное речевое общение.

 

Целевая аудитория

Учащиеся 5 - 6 классов

Сроки реализации проекта - учебное полугодие.

Цель:

Освоить новые формы и методы работы, способствующие развитию личности школьника, способной и желающей участвовать в межкультурной коммуникации на изучаемом языке, самостоятельно совершенствоваться в овладеваемой иноязычной речевой деятельности и умеющей применить свои знания в нужный момент.

Задачи проекта:

• повышение мотивации школьников к изучению иностранного языка;
• более гибкое и прочное усвоение знаний учащимися, возможность их самостоятельного движения в изучении английского языка;
• приобщение учащихся к иноязычной культуре, познакомить с лучшими образцами мировой литературы;
• формирование иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции
• развитие интеллектуальной инициативы учащихся в процессе обучения

 

Результат:

В ходе реализации проекта будет представлена обучающая театрализованная постановка по мотивам фольклорных произведений на английском языке с интерактивным взаимодействием со зрителями 3-4 классов.

План реализации проекта

Подготовительный этап

• инициация идеи;
• целеполагание;
• разработка сценария;
• подготовка декораций, создание видео-презентации, подбор реквизита;
• изготовление и подбор костюмов персонажей;
• оформление пригласительных билетов для зрителей;
• оформление сертификатов для участников спектакля;
• формирование основного и запасного актерского состава;
• формирование состава декораторов, художников по костюмам, звукорежиссёров;
• оформление музыкального и светового сопровождения.

2. Основной этап - работа над театрализованным представлением

• Работа над текстами постановки (овладение грамматическими, лексическими и фонетическими языковыми навыками);
• Разучивание песен и стихов
• Изготовление декораций
• Изготовление костюмов персонажей сказки
• Работа над актёрским мастерством;
• Обсуждение мизансцен;
• Подбор музыкально-звукового сопровождения
• Поэтапные предварительные прослушивания и демонстрация отдельных фрагментов.
• Репетиции на сцене;
• контрольный этап — показ спектакля;
• Этап корректировки;
• Премьера. Демонстрация спектакля младшим учащимся школы;
• Организация видеосъемки.

3. Заключительный этап - рефлексия мероприятия

• Проведение конкурса иллюстраций (плакатов) к спектаклю,
• Создание фоторепортажей (презентаций)
• Размещение материалов на интернет-сайте школы
• Распространение накопленного опыта

Сценарий театрализованной постановки по мотивам сказки «Репка»

The turnip

Characters: a story- teller, an old man, an old woman,a granddaughter, a dog, a cat, a mouse.

Story-teller: Once upon a time there lived an old man and an old woman. They were poor and could hardly make ends meet.

But they lived happily and friendly in a very old house. They liked to work hard and sing songs.

(An old woman is making bread and singing a song:

« Five brown buns in the baker’s shop

Round and fat with suger on the top.

A little boy came with a penny one day,

He bought one bun and took it right away…» )

 

Story-teller: One day the old man planted a turnip in his kitchen garden

(An old man is digging in the garden and singing a song:

« Old Mc’Donnald had a farm

e-i-e-i-o,

And on the farm he had a dog

e-i-e-i-o.

With a bow-bow here and a bow-bow there,

Here bow – there bow- everywhere bow-bow

Old Mc’Donnald had a farm

e-i-e-i-o»…)

 

Story-teller: The turnip was growing and growing and grew very, very big.

(А turnip is sitting and looking at the sky. She is reciting a rhyme:

« Twinkle, twinkle, little star,

How I wonder what you are.

Up above the world so high

Like a diamond in the sky»)

 

Old man: Wow! Have a look at this! The turnip is huge! Have you ever seen anything like this before? I am going to pull in out.

Story-teller: So, the old man grasped the turnip leaves and he pulled, and he pulled but he couldn’t pull it out. It didn’t budge at all.

Old man: Oh-oh … Keep smiling when the chips are down. I have to ask my old lady to help me. Wife, wife, come and help me! Where are you? Oh, I should shout louder. She is deaf in one ear. Hello! Come on! Help me!

Old woman: Why are you shouting? You get on my nerves. I’m not deaf. If you scream any more I’ll take my broom and. …Oh, I can hardly believe my eyes. What is it?

Old man: You are not deaf. You are blind. It’s the turnip! Come on! Give me a hand with this thing.

Story-teller: The old man took hold of the turnip, and the old woman took hold of the old man, and they pulled, and they pulled but they couldn’t pull it out. So they arrived at a decision to call their granddaughter.

Old woman: Honey, come here and help us!

Granddaughter: Me? You want me to pull this giant thing out? Are you kidding? This whole idea is making me mad!

Old man: Don’t start a quarrel! You should be ashamed of yourself. Come on, let’s do it. Each family member must do his bit.

Granddaughter: You always find fault with me. I’ll help you, O. K.?

Story- teller: So, the old man took hold of the turnip, and the old woman took hold of the old man, and the granddaughter took hold of the old woman, and they pulled, and they pulled but they couldn’t pull it out.

Granddaughter: Oh dear! Pulling this turnip out it’s no picnic. We can’t do it without my dog. Come here, doggy!

Dog: Bow-bow. What’s up?

Granddaughter: We need your help.

Old woman: Help us pull this turnip out, please.

Dog: Sure. It is not a piece of cake. But no problem.

Story-teller: The old man tool hold of the turnip, and the old woman took hold of the old man, and the granddaughter took hold of the old woman, and the dog took hold of the granddaughter, and they pulled, and pulled but they couldn’t pull it out.

Dog: What a wonder! What have you grown, old man? It isn’t a turnip, it’s just a monster.

Granddaughter: So what? Any ideas? I’ll go nuts if we don’t pull it out!

( A cat is coming and reciting a rhyme:

“Pussy-cat, pussy-cat, where have you been?

I’ve been to London to look at the Queen.

Pussy-cat, pussy-cat, what did you do there?

I frightened a little mouse under her chair.”)

 

Dog: Let’s call the cat. Maybe he can help us. Come here, puss.

Cat: Mew-mew. Did you call me?

Dog: Look. We have to pull this turnip out. Will you help us?

Cat: I’ll help you if you give me milk, sour-cream and meat and fish…

Old man: No help – no food! OK?

Cat: Ops! I was kidding. You can count on my help.

Story-teller: So, the old man took hold of the turnip, and the old woman took hold of the old man, and the granddaughter took hold of the old woman, and the dog took hold of the granddaughter, and the cat took hold of the dog. They started pulling. It was too hard to pull out. They tried again, - no way.

Old man: It’s incredible! I think this turnip is one for The Guinness Book of Record. It’ll bring us a lot of money if we pull it out.

Old woman: That’s it, “If…”.

(A Mouse is coming and singing a song:

 

“ Four little ducks went swimming one day

Over the pond and far away,

Mother duck said:

Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack

But only three little ducks came back…”)

 

Mouse: Hi, I see you are in trouble, guys. Can I help you?

Cat: Look at this bigwig! She wants to help us! Don’t you see how huge the turnip is?

Mouse: Big deal! We’ll cope with it if we are together.

Old man: OK. Let’s get down to business then.

Story-teller: So, the old man took hold of the turnip, and the old woman took hold of the old man, and the granddaughter took hold of old woman, and the dog took hold of the granddaughter, and the cat took hold of the dog, and the mouse took hold of the cat, and they pulled, and they pulled, and they pulled it out. At last!

All together: It’s fantastic! It’s great! It’s cool!

(They sing a song :

“ If you are happy and you know it

Clap your hands,

If you are happy and you know it

Clap your hands,

If you are happy and you know it

And your face will surely show it .

If you are happy and you know it

Clap your hands”)

 

Mouse: I will visit you again, please don't miss me, please don't miss me.

Granddaughter: See you grannies, please don't cry, please don't cry. I will visit you again hug and kiss you, hug and kiss you. (Sending kisses).

Story-teller: Well done!

Help each other! You see, how it is important to start doing all together.

And what about you? Do you help your grandparents?

Or, perhaps, you think you are too small, aren’t you?

And the mouse was small as well, but with her help the turnip was pulled out .

So, come on, be brave, help everybody!

All together: Here is the end of the story

To them who carefully listened honour and glory!
